The Space Between
LegoHeads officially began with the release of its first single “Out At Sea” on August 12, 2015. Prior to this, singer and songwriter Landon Trimble had been recording songs in his basement to pass the time while recovering from temporary nerve damage in his hands and feet. With his ability to play acoustic instruments limited significantly, Landon relied heavily on programmable electronic instruments and layered vocals throughout most of the writing and recording process. This limitation gave the album its unique surreal dreamlike feel. Eventually, after making a full recovery, he was able to add acoustic instruments into the mix and complete the first album.
